Job summary
Boston Beer Company is seeking a Financial Operations Analyst to support brewery and Contract Manufacturing operations through inventory management, reporting, and financial analysis. You will drive accuracy, analyze variances, and contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and standard costing initiatives.
The role involves partnering with Finance and Operations, preparing routine reports, and supporting process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience in a process-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile inventory transactions and MUV activity for assigned materials.
- Lead inventory reporting and analysis for assigned materials, identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Own the annual physical inventory process and ensure accuracy across Contract Manufacturing locations.
- Analyze inventory movements, production activity, and variances to identify trends and impacts.
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, forecast, and annual budget reports.
- Support new product costing initiatives and participate in standard cost process.
