Job summary

Isabella Bank in Michigan is seeking a full-time Teller to support deposits, withdrawals and payments at our Breckenridge branch. You will assist customers, explain banking services, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

You will promote services, help with account openings, and ensure teller stations stay stocked while delivering outstanding service to clients and teamwork with colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Cash handling or teller experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and mathematical skills.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Receive checks and cash for deposits, verify amounts, endorse checks, and enter deposits into computer records.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals; pay out money after signature and balance verification.
• Promote and explain services such as CDs, safe deposit boxes, traveler’s checks and money orders.
• Receive loan payments and ensure they match balance due; enter payments into computer and issue receipts.
• Count, check, and package coins and currency.
• Keep teller stations stocked with forms and supplies.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with co-workers.
• Deliver outstanding customer service.
• Assist with account opening procedures.
• Pin ATM/Debit cards.
• Document and file items into synergy.
• Travel to other branches to assist with staffing if required.
• Other duties as assigned.
