The MetroHealth System is seeking a Breastfeeding Peer for the WIC Grant Services in Cleveland, OH. The role supports breastfeeding education and referrals within the WIC program.
Under the WIC Breastfeeding Coordinator, you will provide encouragement to pregnant and postpartum families, coordinate referrals, and participate in CCWP activities while upholding MetroHealth values. HS diploma required; personal breastfeeding experience; English proficiency; ability to work at multiple WIC offices;

Shift: 9a-4p Monday through Friday, possibility of alternate hours and Saturdays

Under the supervision of the Women, Infants, Children (WIC) Breastfeeding Coordinator, provides basic information, encouragement, and support for breastfeeding to pregnant and postpartum women and their families. Makes appropriate referrals per Ohio and local WIC policies. Assists with the breastfeeding activities of the Cuyahoga County WIC Program (CCWP). Upholds the mission, vision, STAR-IQ values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System and WIC.
