Job summary

South Shore Health System is seeking a part-time ultrasound technologist to primarily perform breast ultrasound exams at the Cancer Center in Weymouth, MA. You will report preliminary findings to the Radiologist and capture diagnostic images for documentation and billing purposes.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education - Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program.
• One to two (1–2) years breast ultrasound experience preferred.
• License/Registration: RDMS or eligible - Breast Registry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform breast ultrasound exams.
• Check all images with the Radiologist.
• Provide written, unofficial reports of examinations.
• Take representative anatomical pictures and demonstrate normal vs abnormal anatomy.
• Quality assure exams and ensure correct billing and documentation.
