Job summary

The role requires graduation from an accredited ultrasound program, 1–2 years of breast ultrasound experience, and ARDMS eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education - Required: Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program.
• One to two (1-2) years breast ultrasound experience preferred.
• RDMS or eligible - Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
• Breast Registry preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs breast ultrasound exams.
• Reports preliminary findings to the Radiologist.
• Takes anatomical pictures to demonstrate organs.
• Checks images with the Radiologist and consults about readings.
• Ensures proper documentation and image quality.
• Follows safety and universal precautions.
