Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or certificate in diagnostic medical sonography required.
• ARDMS certification (OB/AB/RVT) required prior to hire or obtainable before designation.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of breast ultrasound exams as required for departmental workflow.
• Assist physicians during sterile invasive procedures (biopsies, aspirations, etc.).
• Prepare exam room and equipment following infection control and patient safety protocols.
• Complete exams timely while providing quality scans for Radiology and outside departments.
