Job Description: Diagnostic Breast Sonographer

Operates imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic breast ultrasound images. Requires in-depth knowledge of breast anatomy and physiology. Performs sonographic imaging procedures under the supervision of a qualified physician and clinical manager, adhering to federal, state, local, and hospital policies.

Responsibilities include evaluating patient medical history and symptoms, conducting diagnostic sonographic imaging based on established protocols, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• Prior breast ultrasound experience required
• CPR Certified (BLS)
• Knowledge of the needs and behaviors of adolescent, adult, and older adult patients preferred
