Qualifications

• License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in NY or ARDMS credentials.
• Current Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Must obtain BLS within 90 days of appointment.
• Degrees must be conferred by accredited school or Roswell Park/Health Research Incorporated recognized institution.

Responsibilities

• Produces ultrasonic images of the breast for physician diagnosis.
• Performs screening and diagnostic breast ultrasound exams.
• Assists radiologist in biopsies, seed localizations, aspirations and other studies.
• Maintains exam room supplies.

Education

Associate’s degree + 1 year ultrasound experience

ARDMS Registered or equivalent ultrasound certification
