Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is looking for a part-time CT Technologist to support the Diagnostic Radiology department. The role involves performing CT scans, preparing patients, and ensuring safety and comfort while collaborating with radiologists to deliver high-quality images.

The position is 0.6 FTE (24 hours/week) with a weekend shift. The successful candidate will hold NY licensure, contrast injection certification, and ALS; an associate degree in radiologic technology or

Qualifications

• License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in New York State.
• Registration Certification for Contrast Injection in New York State.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans to produce clear, accurate diagnostic images.
• Prepare and position patients, explain the procedure and answer questions.
• Monitor patients throughout exams to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to achieve optimal imaging results.
• Maintain imaging equipment and follow safety and quality standards.
• Schedule patients and support smooth daily workflow in the department.
