Square Care Medical Group, LLP in Manhattan seeks an experienced Breast Ultrasound Technologist for its Breast Imaging Center. The role involves performing ultrasound exams, ensuring image quality, and supporting radiologists.

This part-time, on-site Friday 8am-5pm position offers $55-$65 per hour and requires ARDMS registration and at least 2 years' breast ultrasound experience. Proficiency with PACS/RIS, Word and Excel is preferred, with strong communication and patient care.

Formación

• ARDMS registered and/or eligible; must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 2 years' breast sonography experience.
• Proficient in PACS and RIS systems; strong communication.

Responsabilidades

• Perform ultrasound and ensure transducer captures images correctly.
• Explain the ultrasound procedure to patients to create a comfortable experience.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and sterilize procedure room.
• Evaluate images for quality and interpret what is captured.
• Present images and preliminary findings to physicians and healthcare team.
• Maintain patient records and add medical notes related to ultrasound.
• Work closely with Mammography technologists and Radiologist to ensure necessary information.
• Review prior images and reports before completing exams.
• Utilize PACS, EMR, and imaging-related systems.
• Maintain compliance with Medical Group standards.
• Perform other duties as needed.
• Training of other technologists as needed.
• Assist in special projects.
