Job summary

University of Tennessee Medical Center seeks an experienced Breast Ultrasound technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic and screening exams in a patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily ultrasound scheduling, notifying patients of benign results, and supporting diagnostic workflows, with ARRT/ARDMS credentials and BLS required or preferred as noted.

Qualifications

• ARRT or ARDMS credentialing required for breast ultrasound technologists.
• Breast Ultrasound expertise and practice in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of three dimensional anatomy and common breast pathologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform optimum, safe diagnostic and screening breast ultrasound exams following departmental protocol.
• Coordinate, review and prepare for daily ultrasound schedule.
• Notify patients of benign results per radiologist instructions.
• Assist with patient workflow for diagnostic evaluations.

Education

ARRT Certification (Required)

Mammography Certification preferred

BLS Certification
