Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• ARDMS/ARRT certifications required; RDMS preferred.
• 1-2 years ultrasound training from an accredited program.
• 1-2 years ultrasound experience; clinical training acceptable.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• 60% Performs various ultrasound examinations with interpretive judgment.
• 10% Evaluates normal vs. abnormal results in context of history and tests.
• 10% Provides preliminary ultrasound results to physicians.
• 10% Teaches imaging students and residents in scanning methods.
• 10% Maintains equipment and performs quality control.
