Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound examinations and assist radiologists with procedures. You will analyze findings, discuss results with physicians, and contribute to accurate diagnoses in a professional healthcare setting.

The role requires an Associate's Degree and ARDMS/RDMS/RVT registries, BLS certification, and solid knowledge of ultrasound imaging. Shift is 36 hours weekly with potential on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must have ARDMS/RDMS and RVT registries.
• BLS certification.
• Experience in ultrasound imaging and patient assessment.

Responsibilities

• Performs various ultrasound examinations and selects proper imaging parameters.
• Independently evaluates normal vs. abnormal test results in correlation with patient history and prior imaging.
• Provides preliminary ultrasound results to attending physicians and other clinicians.
• Teaches imaging techniques to students and residents.
• Maintains equipment and stocks supplies; performs quality control and documentation.
