Job summary

The University of South Florida (USF) Department of Surgery in conjunction with Tampa General Hospital seeks a breast surgical oncologist to join the Division of Surgical Oncology. This is a full-time faculty appointment with attending staff privileges at Tampa General Hospital and affiliated hospitals.

The candidate must be BC/BE General Surgeon; be eligible for medical licensure in Florida; and eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience in breast disease management and clinical trials.
• Active involvement in teaching and mentorship of residents and fellows.
• Strength in academic scholarship and service within a surgical division.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor surgical residents and fellows.
• Participate in didactic education for residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including medical and radiation oncology.
• Engage in clinical trials and deliver high-quality breast care.
