The Department of Surgery at the University of Florida invites applications for a full-time academic breast surgeon to join our faculty in Gainesville. Appointment level depends on qualifications; tenure and non-tenure track options are available.

Board eligible or certified in general surgery with fellowship in breast surgery or surgical oncology is required. Be part of a NAPBC-accredited academic breast center, working with a dynamic multidisciplinary team and expanding a comprehensive breast

Qualifications

• MD degree or equivalent and board certified or eligible in general surgery.
• Fellowship in breast surgery or surgical oncology.
• Florida medical license eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Join a multidisciplinary breast team providing cutting-edge breast cancer care.
• Participate in clinical trials and academic research across UF departments.
• Develop a clinical practice at UF Health in Gainesville and contribute to education.
• Engage in teaching residents and fellows; dedicate time for academic interests.
