The applicant must be Board eligible or certified in general surgery, as well as completed a fellowship in breast surgery or surgical oncology.

This individual will have a unique opportunity to join a NAPBC accredited academic breast center whose focus is on the multidisciplinary team approach to breast care. We are looking to complement our team of two breast surgeons with hopes to expand our breast cancer program. Our patients have access to high-risk breast cancer clinics, dedicated genetic counselors, integrative medicine, clinical psychologists, as well as nutrition specialists.

The applicant will have the opportunity to participate in cutting edge clinical trials, as well as have the opportunity for collaborative research with departments throughout the University of Florida - which was recently ranked NO. 6 public university in the country by U.S. News & World Report. The applicant will develop a clinical practice at UF Health at the University of Florida, in Gainesville, which is the primary teaching hospital for the University of Florida College of Medicine and includes a comprehensive 750+bed facility with a dedicated cancer hospital. Furthermore, the Division has a long-standing commitment to education of medical students, residents and fellows, and the new surgeon will be involved in this effort. The applicant will also be provided with dedicated time to pursue academic interests.
