Job summary

The University of Florida Department of Surgery seeks a full-time academic breast surgeon to join the faculty in Gainesville, FL. Both tenure and non-tenure track options are available.

The candidate must be Board eligible or certified in general surgery and have completed a fellowship in breast surgery or surgical oncology. Florida medical license eligibility is required or preferred.

Qualifications

• MD degree or equivalent required.
• Board eligibility or certification in general surgery required.
• Fellowship in breast surgery or surgical oncology required.
• Florida Medical License eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join a NAPBC-accredited academic breast center and multidisciplinary team.
• Engage in cutting-edge clinical trials and collaborative research with UF faculty.
• Contribute to education of medical students, residents, and fellows at UF Health, Gainesville.
