Job summary

The University of Wisconsin is seeking an exceptional academic surgeon with a clinical practice focused in Breast Surgery to join our Division of Surgical Oncology. The candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team including medical and radiation oncologists, radiologists, reconstructive surgeons, and pathologists, contributing to both clinical care and education.

Board eligibility or certification in General Surgery is required, with fellowship in Surgical Oncology or Breast Surgery

Qualifications

• Board certification or board eligibility from the American Board of Surgery or equivalent by appointment start date.
• Wisconsin medical license by appointment start date.
• Fellowship in Surgical Oncology and/or Breast Surgery strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Elective inpatient and outpatient practice at University Hospital and Eastpark Medical Center.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows; participate in administrative and committee work.
• Support research and/or programmatic development as appropriate.
