Radiology and Imaging Specialists is seeking a Breast Sonographer to perform breast ultrasound procedures in an outpatient Women’s Imaging Center. The role requires RDMS and Breast certifications, with 2+ years in sonography preferred.

The position offers a full-time schedule with a flexible shift and a sign-on bonus. Responsibilities include patient history intake, imaging, biopsy assistance, and ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.

Qualificações

• 2+ years in the Sonography field preferred.
• Current RDMS and Breast certifications required.
• Completion of a course in Ultrasound.
• High School Diploma or GED required for this role.

Responsabilidades

• Performs routine breast ultrasound procedures following radiologist protocols.
• Inputs patient information and protocol details into the system.
• Obtains complete history to assist radiologist with diagnosis.
• Explains the exam to patients to ensure safety and cooperation.
• Assists radiologist during breast biopsies and handles consent forms.
• Maintains exam rooms and reports equipment issues.
• Processes images for film printing and CD burns as needed.
• Promotes teamwork and performs other duties as required.
• Provides customer service across all interactions.
