Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Breast Sonographer (RDMS) to perform ultrasound imaging across breast, abdominal, and obstetrical exams. The role requires independent operation, equipment readiness, and documentation, with potential on-call duties and working across various sites.

Qualified candidates will hold an RDMS, have breast sonography experience with x-ray preferred, and may have mammography and breast ultrasound experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate degree or equivalent.
• RDMS or equivalent certification required.
• Breast sonography experience with x-ray preferred.
• Highly preferred: mammography and breast ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper functioning of ultrasound equipment.
• Perform imaging examinations and accurately document procedures.
• Work independently, including during on-call hours and at different locations.

Job description

The Breast Sonographer (RDMS) performs ultrasound imaging, including breast, abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical scans, to aid in diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include ensuring equipment readiness, independently conducting ultrasound examinations, and documenting procedures. The role may involve on-call duties, portable exams, and working at various sites.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of an Associate degree or equivalent
• RDMS or equivalent certification required
• Breast sonography experience with x-ray preferred
• Highly preferred: mammography and breast ultrasound experience
• Additional certifications such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and RDCS are advantageous

Key Duties:

• Ensure proper functioning of ultrasound equipment
• Perform imaging examinations and accurately document procedures
• Work independently, including during on-call hours and at different locations
