Job summary

Inova Schar Cancer Institute in Fairfax is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the breast cancer clinic. This Full-Time day shift runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call.

The nurse will travel to Inova Fair Oaks on Mondays to support the provider's patient caseload, collaborating with a team of physicians, nurses, and coordinators to deliver patient-centered cancer care.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN; if ADN then BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Virginia RN license or eligibility.
• Proficient English with strong communication.
• Minimum 1 year RN clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination for patients and families.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in a holistic, patient-centered manner.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and care teams to coordinate care.
