Job summary

County of Santa Clara Health System in San Jose, California, is seeking a full-time microsurgery fellowship-trained plastic surgeon with expertise in breast microsurgery to join our Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and affiliated hospitals.

This role offers a high-volume practice, strong referral network, and opportunities to teach Stanford University residents.

Qualifications

Fellowship-trained in microsurgery with breast microsurgery expertise.
Full-time commitment in a public teaching system.
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (surgery, oncology, radiation oncology).

Responsibilities

Perform advanced breast reconstruction procedures including oncoplastic, autologous, and implant-based techniques.
Manage breast cancer patients with tumor boards and multidisciplinary teams.
Provide gender-affirming top surgery as part of a gender health care team.
Provide general plastic surgery care for breast reduction, body contouring, abdominal wall reconstruction, skin cancer resection and reconstruction.
Share plastic surgery and facial trauma call coverage, including acute craniofacial and soft tissue reconstruction.
Attend as surgeon mentor for Stanford University plastic surgery residents with instruction.
