Job summary

Santa Clara Valley Healthcare (SCVH) in San Jose, CA, seeks a full-time microsurgery fellowship-trained plastic surgeon with expertise in breast microsurgery to join the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and community hospitals.

The ideal candidate will perform advanced breast reconstruction, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor Stanford University plastic surgery residents, and provide comprehensive plastic surgery care including

Qualifications

• Must be BE/BC plastic surgeon with microsurgery fellowship and breast microsurgery expertise.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced breast reconstruction procedures including oncoplastic, autologous, and implant-based techniques.
• Collaborate with breast surgery, oncology, and radiation oncology teams through tumor board.
• Provide gender affirming top surgery as part of gender health care team
• Provide general plastic surgery comprehensive care for breast reduction, body contouring, abdominal wall reconstruction, skin cancer resection and reconstruction
• Share plastic surgery and facial trauma call coverage, including acute craniofacial and soft tissue reconstruction.
• Serve as an attending surgeon for Stanford University plastic surgery residents, providing mentorship, operative teaching, and didactic instruction.
