Baptist Health Medical Group seeks a Head and Neck & Cutaneous Medical Oncologist to join the Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute in South Florida. The role focuses on cancers of the head and neck and skin malignancies with a patient-centered approach and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates should be ABIM board-certified/eligible with a Hematology/Oncology fellowship, an MD/DO, and an active medical license (or eligibility).

• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with surgical, radiation, pathology, radiology, dermatology, and supporting care specialists.
• Engage in leadership, program development, research, and academic initiatives when applicable.

• Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
• Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology from an ACGME-accredited program is required
• Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and successful completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
• Candidates will diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of head and neck cancers and cutaneous malignancies, including melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers, while developing individualized treatment plans informed by the latest evidence-based guidelines
• Opportunity is open to both early-career physicians completing fellowship training and experienced medical oncologists seeking to join a collaborative academic environment
• Candidates interested in physician leadership may be considered for a Sub-Chief role, with dedicated protected time for program development, academic initiatives, research, and leadership responsibilities in addition to clinical practice
