Job summary

Rock Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic breast and bone density exams under radiologist guidance. You will ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, and comfort while following department protocols.

The role requires ARRT Mammography and ARRT Radiography certifications, an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least 2 years of diagnostic radiography experience, preferably in breast imaging.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• ARRT-Mammography, ARRT-Radiography certifications, and BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of diagnostic radiography/X-ray experience; breast imaging experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Knowledge of mammography positioning techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct breast and bone density imaging following department protocols.
• Evaluate image quality and perform post-processing.
• Ensure proper patient identification and care.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Assist radiologists with procedures.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to safety standards.
• Respond to emergency situations appropriately.
• Comply with organizational policies and conduct standards.
