Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic breast and bone density exams, supporting physicians with accurate imaging data and compassionate patient care.

You will demonstrate expertise in breast and bone density imaging, adhere to ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure, evaluate image quality, and ensure proper patient identification.

Qualifications

• Radiologic technology program accreditation is required.
• ARRT‑Mammography and ARRT‑Radiography certifications are required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum two years in diagnostic radiography or one year in breast imaging; mammography positioning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in breast and bone density imaging while maintaining ALARA principles.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure proper patient identification.
• Provide compassionate patient care and prioritize safety.
• Assist radiologists with procedures and follow organizational policies.
