Job summary

Vail Health Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in breast imaging. The role involves performing mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound, and ultrasound-guided biopsy procedures in a PRN or as-needed capacity.

You will adhere to MQSA and ACR guidelines, coordinate patient care, and ensure quality control of imaging equipment. Requires ARRT Mammography and BLS, with 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT Mammography certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• 1 year of experience preferred in healthcare.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of breast anatomy and safe administration of radiation.
• Review requisitions for consistency of examination and patient demographics.
• Operate mammography and stereotactic equipment and perform related procedures.
• Educate patients before, during, and after breast imaging to coordinate care.
• Review examinations for technical accuracy and present to radiologist.
