Qualifications

• One year of hospital-based mammography, DEXA and biopsy experience.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) in radiography and certified.
• Licensed in the State of Illinois to practice and administer radiation.

Responsibilities

• Performs screening and diagnostic breast health center procedures.
• Assists with stereotactic breast biopsies and breast needle localizations.
• Functions as the first line interface with patients.

Skills

Hospital-based mammography experience

Basic computer knowledge

Ability to operate DEXA and mammography equipment

Education

Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiological Technology

High school graduate
