Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Sonography or Radiology Tech program required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the daily work schedule and directs staff to maintain efficient workflow.
• Ensures orientation, training, and development of staff and new hires.
• Handles crucial conversations and uses chain of command appropriately.
• Manages staffing with Technical Manager and overtime.
• Supports Safety Ambassador to reduce errors.
• Ensures staff compliance with safety standards.
• Supports PACS Recon liaison to prevent significant PACS errors.
• Responsible for first-line patient resolution and handling complaints.
• Maintains communication with physicians, nurses, and staff about scheduling and results.
• Ensures approved protocol changes are followed.
• Transports medications to imaging area as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of imaging technology and QC procedures.

Education
