Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking an Imaging Technical Manager for Magnetic Resonance Imaging to oversee service excellence and create a safe patient-centered experience. The MRI Tech Manager ensures imaging work is of outstanding quality and efficient.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, California Radiologic Tech certification, a graduate from an accredited Imaging/Radiology program, and 5 years as MRI Tech with 2 years of leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging/Radiology program.
• Certifications/Licensure: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required; California Radiologic Tech certification required; BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.

Responsibilities

• Critically evaluates and anticipates risks to patients, physicians, staff and others to prevent errors; uses knowledge at point of care to improve outcomes.
• Provides leadership as a subject matter expert in imaging practices; coaches staff and ensures quality care standards; rounds to ensure consistent imaging practice, service and quality.
• Supervises staff, develops and implements action plans to improve performance; recognizes staff, guides management; chairs subdivision meetings on performance and service excellence.
• Creates, monitors, and tracks operating budgets.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Imaging/Radiology program

Bachelor's degree preferred
