Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) seeks a Supervisor Breast Imaging to lead the Breast Care Center's day-to-day operations. You will guide technologists across all imaging modalities and coordinate staffing, workflows, and patient schedules to ensure high-quality care.

Ideal candidates have an Associate’s degree in radiology, at least two years of supervisory Mammography experience, and active licenses. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in RIS/PACS

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s degree and at least 2 years of supervisory experience within Mammography.
• Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography license (Full/General) and Mammography license.
• ARRT registration in Radiography with RT(R) and Mammography with RT(M).
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the Breast Imaging Department.
• Lead staff across all Breast Imaging modalities during shifts.
• Assist with interviewing and hiring recommendations.
• Maintain documentation for staff qualifications, licenses, and continuing education.
• Ensure payroll accuracy and staffing to meet patient care needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, radiology, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Radiology Director to optimize workflow and patient experience.
