Medical Associates of Northwest Arkansas (MANA) is seeking a Breast Sonographer to perform Screening ABUS and Diagnostic Breast Ultrasounds and assist in complex breast procedures. The role requires ARDMS/ARRT certification and CPR, with Arkansas licensure preferred.

The position involves operating ultrasound equipment, following radiologist protocols, and ensuring QA and infection control standards are met. Team collaboration with radiology leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARDMS or ARRT is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Arkansas Radiological License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Screening (ABUS) and Diagnostic Breast Ultrasounds.
• Perform complex and specialized breast procedures.
• Follow procedure protocols defined by Radiologists.
• Operate ultrasound equipment proficiently and maintain equipment.
• Adhere to QA guidelines, regulatory requirements, and infection control.
• Monitor supplies and equipment inventories in Ultrasound suites.
• Minimize artifacts and repeat studies through proper technique.
• Communicate patient education materials to patients.
• Coordinate with Lead Sonographer, Chief Tech, Director and Radiologists.
