Job summary

Radiology Associates of Ocala is seeking a full-time Breast Scheduler to coordinate imaging appointments for referring physicians and patients. The role requires outstanding customer service skills and meticulous attention to detail to ensure a smooth scheduling process and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
• Knowledge of radiologic procedures and medical terminology is desirable.
• Strong computer and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer multi-line phone system courteously and professionally, routing calls as needed.
• Schedule imaging appointments across multiple clinical sites, ensuring appropriateness of exams based on ordered diagnosis and established protocols.
• Accurately enter patient demographics and insurance information into the RIS system.
• Assist patients with scheduling, answer inquiries, and provide a welcoming first impression.
• Resolve conflicting or missing orders by coordinating with referring physicians, supervisors, or lead technicians.
