Job summary

UNC Health Care is seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist to provide weekly per diem coverage at UNC Health Johnston locations in Smithfield and Clayton, North Carolina. The role focuses on diagnostic mammography interpretation and image-guided breast procedures with a Monday–Friday dayshift schedule.

The ideal candidate will be fellowship-trained in Breast Imaging or possess substantial breast imaging experience and be eligible for NC licensure.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred; equivalent focused breast imaging experience will be considered.
• Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of diagnostic mammography studies.
• Performance of image-guided breast procedures, including breast biopsies.
• Dedicated breast imaging coverage at UNC Health Johnston locations in Smithfield and Clayton (onsite).
• Maintain 100% onsite clinical practice with a Monday–Friday dayshift schedule.
