Job summary

UNC Health southeastern is seeking a per diem breast imaging radiologist (MD/DO) to join our team in Lumberton, NC. The specialist will focus on interpretation of breast imaging studies, including mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI, as well as perform image-guided breast procedures such as biopsies and localizations.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday, dayshift only, with no call. This position offers 100% breast imaging and can be employed or a 1099-contract opportunity.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required.
• BC/BE in Breast Imaging Radiology, or Diagnostic/Procedural, with extensive breast procedural experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpret breast imaging studies (mammography, ultrasound, MRI).
• Perform image-guided breast procedures such as biopsies and localizations.
• Weekday dayschedule; no call; focus on breast imaging only.
