Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a dedicated breast imaging radiologist for per diem coverage at Johnston locations in Smithfield and Clayton. The role involves diagnostic mammography interpretation and image-guided breast procedures, including biopsies, with a Monday–Friday dayshift, on-site only.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Fellowship in Breast Imaging preferred; equivalent focused breast imaging experience considered.
• Eligible for NC medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Dedicated breast imaging coverage across UNC Health Johnston locations in Smithfield and Clayton.
• Interpretation of diagnostic mammography studies.
• Performance of image-guided breast procedures including breast biopsies.
