Job summary

UNC Health Caldwell in western North Carolina seeks a clinically oriented radiologist with breast imaging expertise to read mammography, ultrasound, and MRI, and to perform breast procedures. The role supports hospital and mammography center work, with a mix of on-site and teleradiology duties.

Open to per diem, part-time or full-time candidates; dayshift hours only, with 4 hours weekly standard minimum for some roles, located in the Greater Hickory Metro Area.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Radiology residency program.
• BC/BE in Radiology; BC/BE in Breast Imaging Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Interpret breast imaging studies (mammography, ultrasound, MRI).
• Perform image-guided breast procedures such as biopsies and localizations.
• Engage in hybrid on-site and teleradiology reading for breast imaging.
