Job summary

UNC Health southeastern in Lumberton, NC seeks a full-time Breast Imaging Radiologist (MD/DO) to join our team. The role focuses on interpretation of mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI, and includes image-guided biopsy/localization procedures with a day schedule and no on-call expectations.

Fellowship in Breast Imaging or extensive experience is preferred. Employment or 1099 contract options are available with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging or extensive breast imaging experience.
• Proficiency in mammography, ultrasound and MRI interpretation.
• Ability to perform image-guided breast procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interpret breast imaging studies including mammography, ultrasound and MRI.
• Perform image-guided breast biopsies and localization procedures.
• Provide timely and accurate diagnostic assessments in a clinical radiology setting.
