Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Medical Imaging Manager for the Hill Breast Center in Jacksonville, FL. The role oversees daily breast imaging operations, staffing, budgeting, and quality initiatives, while collaborating with modality leads, radiologists, and system leadership.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Experience working in a hospital or outpatient imaging setting.
• Budgeting and operational management experience.
• Strong customer service and employee engagement skills.
• Breast imaging experience is required.
• Experience collaborating with radiologists and leading multidisciplinary teams preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to de-escalate situations, mentor team members, and promote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of the Director.
• Perform administrative and supervisory duties within the department.
• Support the development and maintenance of departmental budgets.
• Lead recruitment, retention, mentoring, and performance management of a team of approximately 48 direct reports, including Mammography Technologists, Breast Ultrasound Technologists, Patient Access Specialists, and Medical Assistants.
• Manage staff scheduling, timekeeping, payroll approvals, and attendance.
• Address imaging workflow and image processing concerns.
• Support quality assurance and quality control initiatives for breast imaging equipment across the Baptist Health system.
• Oversee mammography equipment operations across 10 locations with 21 mammography units.
• Manage the Baptist Health Mobile Mammography ("Buddy Bus") program.
• Foster a collaborative, team-oriented culture with radiologists and multidisciplinary leaders.
