Job summary

BETH ISRAEL LAHEY HEALTH seeks a radiology division leader to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure technical excellence, and maintain safety in patient care. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and guide policy updates across the division.

Requirements include radiology licensure, 3+ years of technologist leadership, strong communication, and proficiency with radiology systems. The role is based in our Boston area radiology department and supports hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience as a technologist or Sonographer.
• Strong verbal and written communication, conflict management and negotiation skills.
• License, certification, and/or registry in Radiology.
• New hires must obtain BLS certification with AHA within 30 days.
• Advanced technical computer skills for functional area and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Represent the division on technical leadership initiatives and coordinate department-wide initiatives.
• Lead staff, inform and train to maintain morale and effectiveness.
• Manage inventory of supplies and equipment and monitor usage and technique changes.
• Maintain and update division policies and procedures.
• Contribute to department leadership by ensuring technical excellence, safety, QA/QI.
