Job summary

Freeman Health System in the United States is seeking a Lead Mammography Technologist to oversee the breast imaging department's daily operations. You will ensure efficient patient flow, allocate resources, and maintain imaging standards while collaborating with the Department Manager and Interpreting Physician to deliver high-quality care.

Requirements include ARRT Mammography certification and 3–5 years in mammography, with leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT Mammography (R)(M) certification required.
• 3–5 years of experience in mammography.
• Lead/senior technologist experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of breast imaging workflows (screening, diagnostic, interventional).
• Ability to manage workflow and prioritize tasks in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and workflow of the breast imaging department.
• Ensure efficient patient flow and resource utilization.
• Coordinate with Department Manager, Quality Coordinator and Lead Interpreting Physician to maintain high-quality patient care.
