Job summary

Freeman Health System, Inc. in Joplin, MO is seeking a Lead Breast Imaging Technologist for Freeman West to oversee the breast imaging department's daily operations and ensure smooth patient flow.

Candidates must hold ARRT Mammography certification, have 3–5 years of experience, and demonstrate leadership and strong communication. Experience with PACS, RIS, and scheduling systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT Mammography (R)(M) certification is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in mammography.
• Lead or senior technologist experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of breast imaging workflows (screening, diagnostic, interventional).
• Ability to manage workflow in a high-volume environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with PACS, RIS, and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and workflow of the breast imaging department.
• Coordinate with Department Manager, Quality Coordinator, and Lead Interpreting Physician to ensure high-quality patient care and efficiency.
