Job summary

Tufts Medicine Lowell General Hospital invites applications for a full-time Breast Health Nurse Practitioner to join the LGH Cancer Care Associates team on the Main Campus. You will provide comprehensive breast health services, work with surgeons and oncologists, and coordinate patient-centered care in an ambulatory setting.

The role supports four-day schedules, no weekends, and a focus on early detection, treatment coordination, and survivorship in a collaborative environment with Tufts Medical

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current Massachusetts NP licensure.
• Breast health, breast surgery, oncology, or related clinical experience.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive breast health assessments and risk assessments.
• Coordinate diagnostic testing, imaging, and referrals.
• Develop and coordinate individualized care plans with the team.
• Educate patients and families and provide ongoing support.
• Assist in management and care of patients with breast cancer.
• Provide patient and family education on breast health, screening, risk reduction, and survivorship.
• Monitor patients during follow-up visits and coordinate supportive care.
• Promote care coordination across specialties for timely access and experience.
• Support patients and families navigating complex diagnoses and decisions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary initiatives to promote clinical excellence and safety.
