Job summary

You’ll manage open order lists, proofreading dictations, and coordinating follow-up imaging and patient results in compliance with FDA requirements.

Responsibilities include obtaining insurance precertifications, organizing RIS entries, updating medical records, and providing general departmental support.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of healthcare experience required.

Responsibilities

• Proofread radiologists’ dictations for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain open mammography order lists with the supervisor.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for additional imaging.
• Obtain insurance precertifications and document imaging procedures.
• Assist with retrieving medical records and clerical duties.
