Mercy Medical Center, Inc. in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a PRN/Per Diem Physician Assistant to support the Breast Center. You will provide patient evaluation, diagnosis, and education, and work independently in a clinical setting.

The role requires completion of an accredited PA program, Maryland PA license, NCCPA certification, surgical experience, and proficiency with EPIC. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a certified Physician Assistant program.
• Maryland PA license required.
• NCCPA certification required.
• Surgical experience required.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Computer literacy required or learn within 6 months.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment and patient care under supervision of physician.
• Manage patient flow effectively and efficiently.
• Triages patient calls and documents correspondence.
• Communicate with patients and families.
• Complete disability paperwork per office procedures.
• Assist in care and management of inpatients under supervision of physician.
• Patient assessment in ER and for hospital admission.
