Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore is seeking a PRN/Per Diem Physician Assistant to support the Breast Center. This role involves independent clinical work and providing comprehensive patient care in a busy hospital setting.

The ideal candidate has an PA certification, Maryland license, NCCPA, surgical experience, and proficiency with EPIC. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential; 6-month readiness and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a certified Physician Assistant program.
• Maryland PA license required.
• NCCPA certification required.
• Surgical experience required.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Must be computer literate or learn within 6 months.
• Must read, write, and speak the English language clearly.
• Ability to work efficiently and make decisions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsabilités

Responsibilities

The Physician Assistant will work within the Breast Center practice on all aspects of patient care including evaluation, diagnosis and education. The candidate must be able to work independently in a clinical setting.

Job Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

• Provides treatment and patient care under the supervision of physician

• Communicates effectively and efficiently with patients and their families

Requirements

• Must have completed a certified Physician Assistant program
• License Requirements: Maryland PA License
• Certification Requirements: NCCPA
• Surgical experience required
• EPIC experience preferred
• Must be computer literate or learn within 6 months
• Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner
• Must be able to work efficiently and possess the ability to make decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public
• Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
