Job summary

TOPS Comprehensive Breast Center is seeking a Breast Center Support Specialist to maintain daily systems operations across its four centers, with base at the Red Oak location. The role involves technical support for software/hardware, clinical systems, and EHR/PACS workflows to ensure reliable patient care.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, coordinating with IT, and maintaining security, backups, and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of hospital or customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is required.
• Understanding of HIPAA and security protocols to protect PHI.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT and clinical systems support for the Breast Center and Hospital.
• Troubleshoot software/hardware, networks, phone systems, and clinical systems.
• Support Windows, eFax, and office software; assist with PACS/PenRad user management.
• Develop and enforce department policies and procedures; follow P&Ps for all tasks.
• Coordinate with IT Manager and USPI staff on backups, vendor coordination, and security.
