Job summary

Duke Health Integrated Practice in Raleigh, NC seeks an Advanced Practice Provider for the Breast Risk Assessment Clinic to work with attending physicians, provide direct patient care, data collection, and order imaging.

You will perform risk assessment, screening, prevention, patient education, and care coordination designed to promote early detection and reduce breast cancer risk. Hours are Monday–Friday, day shift, with flexibility to meet clinic needs.

Qualifications

• Education: NP with master’s in nursing or PA with bachelor’s; NP preferred for practice.
• Certification: BLS; APP or CGRA certifications favored.
• Licensure: NC NP or PA license; NC certification required/preferred.
• Experience: APPexperience in high-risk breast or cancer genetics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in person and via virtual visits with triage and exams.
• Develop screening and risk reduction plans for high-risk patients.
• Counsel patients on breast cancer risk and management recommendations.
• Interpret genetic test results and communicate findings to teams.
• Order imaging, labs, and professional consultations; coordinate care.
• Document data in the electronic medical record and ensure timely follow-up.
