Job summary

Cardinal Health in Fresno is seeking a Specialty Registered Nurse Navigator to coordinate patient care across imaging and the breast cancer care team. You will serve as a single point of contact for patients and referring physicians, helping streamline diagnostic and treatment workflows.

This role requires an RN with a California license, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a diploma, ADN or BSN.
• Current California RN license.
• CPR certification.
• Strong customer service background in healthcare.
• Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care from imaging through the cancer care team.
• Collaborate with radiologists during biopsy procedures and post-procedure care.
• Serve as liaison between primary care and cancer care teams.
• Expedite workups for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients.
• Conduct post-operative calls to assess recovery and address concerns.
• Triage calls and direct needs to the appropriate team member.
• Schedule follow-up appointments under physician direction.
• Support patients receiving neoadjuvant therapy with follow-ups.
