SEKISUI Aerospace in Sumner, WA is hiring for a Breakout I 1st shift production role. You will remove bagging materials and plaster from composite parts and perform surface prep and sanding on inner surfaces.

The position requires reading instructions and using hand/power tools to prepare parts for finishing. Typical duties include removing plaster from composites, preparing surfaces, and ensuring parts are free of residues.

Qualifications

• One year of related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to read and understand detailed instructions.
• Intermediate to advanced math skills.
• Able to use hand and power tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication.
• Able to identify defective materials and parts.

Responsibilities

• Remove plaster from composite parts using hand tools.
• Remove bagging materials from cured parts.
• Perform surface preparation and sanding.
• May use acetone or alcohol to remove particles.
